OUR COMMUNITY WORK
We believe in being involved in our community. When you use our services it directly helps us make financial contributions to Community and Charity work.
This is one of our favourite Charities because we have seen at first hand the wonderful support they delivered to a past client and his widow with follow up help during the first year following her bereavement. We support Totara Hospice south Auckland by being a major sponsor to the annual golf tournament at Pakuranga Golf Club held each October.
In addition we are also a “Business Supporter” for the Hospice with monthly contributions to assist their valuable work.
We are keen supporters of the work that The Fred Hollows Foundation performs around the world and in our area with the Pacific Islands and Asia – teaching local doctors how to perform cataract operations. Helping people to see again has to be one of the most wonderful things we can be involved in.
We make monthly donations to The Fred Hollows Foundation.
We assist the Society of St Vincent de Paul in South Auckland with their financial matters and reporting and as a member of the executive to help promote and provide assistance to people in need in our society. The Society raises funds through its opportunity shops and this helps fund a variety of projects in the south Auckland area involving people to people contact from counselling help, scholarships at De la Salle and McAuley Colleges through to food parcels and budgeting help for those in direct need.
